Agreement to Terms

By accessing electriciantwinfalls.com or contacting Tervano Electric for electrical services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms govern your use of our website and your engagement with Tervano Electric as a contractor. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or engage our services.

About Tervano Electric

Tervano Electric is a licensed electrical contractor operating in Twin Falls, Idaho and throughout Twin Falls County, Jerome County, and Gooding County, Idaho. We hold Idaho electrical licenses issued by the Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (DOPL) under the Idaho Division of Building Safety. Our work is governed by the 2023 National Electrical Code as adopted by Idaho, and by Idaho Code 54-1005.

Estimates and Pricing

We provide written estimates before commencing any electrical work. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing. Estimates may change if: (1) the scope of work changes at the customer’s request, (2) concealed conditions are discovered during work that differ materially from what was visible at time of estimate, or (3) material costs change significantly between estimate and job start date. We communicate any estimate changes in writing before proceeding with additional work.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of work unless a payment schedule has been agreed upon in writing for larger projects. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee. Accounts past due by 30 days are subject to 1.5% monthly interest. For commercial projects exceeding $5,000, we may require a deposit of up to 25% of the estimated project cost before commencing work.

Permits and Inspections

Tervano Electric obtains required permits from the City of Twin Falls Building Department or Twin Falls County, as applicable, for all work that legally requires permitting under Idaho law and the 2023 NEC. Permit fees are included in written estimates. The customer is responsible for ensuring clear access to the work area for City of Twin Falls electrical inspectors. If an inspection fails due to conditions outside our scope of work (pre-existing non-code conditions not included in our estimate), re-inspection fees are the customer’s responsibility.

Warranty

We warrant our labor and workmanship for one (1) year from completion date for residential work and 90 days for commercial and agricultural work, unless otherwise stated in the written estimate. This warranty covers defects in installation workmanship. It does not cover: damage caused by misuse, modifications by others, acts of God, power surges from the utility, or normal wear and tear. Manufacturer warranties on materials and equipment are separate and pass directly to the customer. We honor Idaho’s implied warranty of habitability for residential work as required by law.

Emergency Service

Emergency service calls — including agricultural irrigation failures and after-hours residential emergencies — may carry a premium rate disclosed at the time of scheduling. We will inform you of any emergency premium before dispatching.

Limitation of Liability

Tervano Electric’s liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific work at issue. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or punitive damages. We are not liable for losses caused by pre-existing electrical deficiencies, work by prior contractors, or conditions outside our scope of work. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. Any disputes arising from our services shall be resolved in the courts of Twin Falls County, Idaho, or through binding arbitration if agreed upon in writing. Idaho law governs contractor disputes under Idaho Code Title 44.
